On Sunday 8th of April we had a big birthday party at the Filadelfia church in Drammen. Approx. 60 children and adults watched a video about Everybody´s Birthday Party which we hold for more than 1000 children at the Ebenezer New Life Children’s Home every summer.
In addition, Rebecca told a bit from the children’s home and the birthday party. We had lots of balloons competitions with prizes awarded and loud singing of the birthday song. And then, of course, we finished off with chicken and ugali for everybody, followed by lovely cinnamon buns!
To all of you from FilaKids: Thank you so much for making this fun birthday party together with us and for the money you collected! We are looking forward to sending the money to Ebenezer, so that together we may make another fantastic birthday party at the children’s home this coming summer! =)
